What MIDNIGHT CIRCUS has been up to...
Midnight Circus wanted to start the new century with a deep philosophical approach, so let’s see what they have to say about their regrets & resolutions.... Rob Howl’s regrets: I regret the things I didn’t do...oh yea, and all those 1/2 full beers people have left sitting around my house. Regrets, I’ve had a few...but then again, too few to mention. Rob’s resolution: No more resolutions. Rick Ward’s regrets: I regret the fact that I don’t remember anything after midnight on New Years Eve!, and I regret that dance I received at The Riviera. Rick’s resolutions: I’ll never drink again...and this time I mean it! (maybe), I will not threaten to beat band members (mine or any others) No more nude spackeling. Robert-O’s regrets: I regret not being more responsive to comments made to me in the 90’s (no shit!, really, wow, fuckin A, not having my pubic hair trimmed this past year, not wearing enough red, not completing my Twisted Sister discology, not subscribing to "Hustler", never really having anything cool to say to a dancer at a topless bar while tipping her. Robert’s resolutions: stop watching Jerry Springer, to incorporate Locrian Mode into more of the songs that I write, to not use so much profanity when checking mics, to be more useful during set-up & tear-downs, to actually participate in the MetalMad onelist instead of just reading it, to stop smoking crack. Alan Roger’s regret: I regret that I don’t have huge tits, you know the giant, enormous, big as your head kind! Alan’s resolution: To get MANBOOBS, you know the giant, enormous, big as your head kind! Ok. Hmm.... looks like they haven’t changed much. Well anyway, Midnight Circus will start their 2000 schedule off with 2 shows in Louisiana. On January 28, it’s their debut show at Cocktails in Port Allen, and then on the 29, back to The Sports Page in Lafayette. Then their first show of the new year in Houston will be on February 19 at Forgetta Bout It on Jones Road & Grant. After not playing in their home town for nearly 2 months the guys will be ready to party Houston’s ass off so be prepared. MIDNIGHT CIRCUS wants to remind you to check out METAL MAD - Heavy metal, melodic power metal ... A> this place has all your hard rock & metal needs!! Local and international. If you email them tell them Midnight Circus sent ya! Until next time, keep it hard...and if you can't keep it hard blame it on the alcohol!!
